Bradford City climbed three places to seventh in Division 1 Midlands with victory over second-placed Leeds United at Valley Parade. Sophie Hawkins’ strike on 37 minutes proved sufficient, as Leeds missed the chance to go top.

Bianca Owens bagged a first-half brace for Norton, who had the points tied up by the break after both Shannon Reed and Sacha Millward scored in stoppage-time. Brogan Prudhoe pulled one back late on for the hosts.

Long Eaton are level on points with Division 1 Midlands leaders Boldmere St Michaels after a 1-1 draw against Doncaster at the Keepmoat Stadium. Jasmine Saxton took advantage of a defensive mix up to score for Rovers but the visitors equalised by half time, direct from a corner. The draw put Belles fourth in the table and just a point behind the leading pair.
