Blackburn Rovers were 3-0 winners over Coventry United in the FAWNL Championship Play Off at Bradford City FC on Saturday afternoon.
Coventry’s Beth Merrick had hit the bar from outaide the box before Saffron Jordan was set up by Natasha Flint to give Rovers the lead shortly before half time.
Helen Dermody was also denied by the Rovers bar from 25 yards and within a few minutes her side were two behind, Jess Holbrook sending Flint away to lift the ball over the onrushing Sue Wood.
The scoring was completed on 71 minutes and Holbrook was again the provider, as her corner was headed home by Natasha Fenton.
