Early Northern Premier leaders Blackburn are without a game, with second-placed Stoke entertaining Doncaster. Fylde face Nottingham Forest (switched to Squires Gate FC) with both teams chasing back-to-back wins, Huddersfield and Derby also look to double their points on visits to Guiseley (for the Vixens opening game) and Hull respectively. Two more games in Yorkshire see Bradford take on Sunderland and Sheffield FC meet Middlesbrough.
Four of the Southern Premier‘s victors on match day one play each other, with Plymouth up against Chichester and Watford welcoming initial leaders Loughborough Foxes. Portsmouth, the other side with three points on the board, are home to Gillingham, C & K Basildon have a changed venue in Concord Rangers FC for the visit of Cardiff, while MK Dons tackle Coventry and QPR host Oxford.
Wolves follow up their double-figure win in Midlands Division 1 with a home game against Solihull but all other winners of last Sunday are away; newcomers Nettleham at Birmingham & West Midlands, West Brom at Long Eaton and Burton at Steel City. Elsewhere, Bedworth make their debut at this level with a trip to TNS.
Bolton and Chorley clash with three points apiece, top of Northern Division 1 Leeds head to Burnley, Liverpool Feds are on their travels to Norton. Crewe and Newcastle each seek their first points, while Barnsley begin at Chester le Street and Morecambe’s first match is home to Brighouse.
The top four in South East Division 1 play among themselves, joint leaders Enfield and Crawley clashing and Billericay having their Tier 4 home debut against Stevenage. Orient try for a second victory when hosting Cambridge, Luton welcome Wimbledon and games in the bottom four see Actonians against Ipswich and Norwich versus Denham.
Keynsham and Southampton Saints have a win each in South West Division 1 before their match, Southampton WFC seek a second success when at Brislington, as do Larkhall at Poole, with Maidenhead’s opener coming at Cheltenham who were the other team to enjoy a victorious start.
