Newcastle United and Portsmouth resume their respective FA Women’s National League promotion pushes after last week’s Cup semi-final clash.
Most of the Northern Premier Division’s top four are on their travels, leaders Newcastle United at Stoke City, Burnley away to fifth-placed Derby County and Liverpool Feds visiting Wolves in sixth. Nottingham Forest were due to be at Halifax but the fixture has now been reversed. Huddersfield Town welcome West Brom, whom they trail be seven points but with two games in hand in the battle to avoid relegation.
There is just a couple of games in the Southern Premier, Cardiff City Ladies entertaining Portsmouth who lead the table by six points, Plymouth Argyle playing fifth-placed Ipswich Town.
Division 1 Midlands leaders Loughborough Lightning are just goal-difference ahead of visitors Boldmere, who beat them 2-1 in December, third-placed Sporting Khalsa would get closer to the top two with a win at Lincoln City.
