With the release of the FA Women’s National League Cup draw, the FA WNL has announced prize money for its cup competitions.

From the 2024/25 season, the determining round will now take place in midweek in order to accommodate more league fixtures taking place in weekend slots. The draw for the determining round was structured to minimise travel.

The FA WNL has also announced it will be forming a new relationship with the Professional Game Academies from the new season, with PGA sides invited to enter the FA WNL Plate. The move will grow and strengthen the existing relationships between the Barclays Women’s Super League, Barclays Women’s Championship and FA Women’s National League, whilst boosting player development opportunities and giving young players more competitive senior minutes.

FA WNL Cup prize money

Round / Winning Club / Losing Club

Final £4,000 / £1,000

Semi-final £2,000 / £500

Quarter-final £1,000 / £250

Round Two £500 / £125

Round One £400 / £100

The FA WNL Plate has the same value prize monies for the last three rounds, although any PGA team reaching these stages will not receive the prize money.
