Durham and Reading won through the Preliminary Round of the FA Girls’ U-16 Youth Cup played on Saturday 23rd September.
Durham defeated visitors Boston United 8-2, whom they led 4-1 at the break.
There were braces for Ellie Smith, Erin Nelson and substitute Rebecca Henderson, plus one apiece from Megan Farrell and Georgia Richardson for the home side.
Reading came through the other tie at Charlton Athletic, leading 1-0 at the interval, they went on to add three more goals.
