The FA Girls’ Youth U-16 finals will see Chelsea and Southampton contest the Cup, while Bristol City and Manchester United play for the Plate.

Rebecca Teale and Emma Thompson were the scorers as Chelsea eliminated Everton 2-0 in the Cup.

Southampton, who knocked out holders Arsenal back in the second round, scored three goals without reply against Leicester City in the other Cup semi-final.

The Plate tie between Liverpool and Bristol City produced no goals and had to be decided on penalties, as the Robins edged through 5-4 in the shoot-out.

Manchester United join them in the final after a 2-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion.
