Everton sign 26-year-old Greece international midfielder Veatriki Sarri following her two seasons at Brighton.
Listing Sheffield United and Birmingham City among her former clubs, Sarri made 53 appearances for Albion and scored six goals.
Sarri told evertontv: “It’s a pleasure to be an Everton player. My first impressions are unbelievable. I’ve met all the girls, the staff and everyone associated with the club, and I’m really excited to get going.
“I really like Brian [Sorensen’s] philosophy, I like the style of play. Whenever I’ve played against Everton, it’s always been a tough task. To be part of it now is a great honour.”
Manager Sorensen told evertonfc.com: “Veatriki is someone who I looked at when I first joined Everton when she was at Birmingham, but she had already signed for Brighton.
“I think she’s quality. We will take her game to the next level with the way we play and the way I intend to use her in our team.
“She’s two-footed, strong, fast, dribbles the ball well and is a great finisher.
“Veatriki will be a key player for us, I have no doubt about that.”
