Willie Kirk has been brought in by Everton as their new manager, ahead of Sunday’s local derby with Liverpool at Southport FC.
The former Bristol City and Hibernian boss has been assistant to Casey Stoney at Manchester United and replaces Andy Spence. with the side bottom of the FAWSL.
Kirk told evertonfc.com: “Everton has a great history in the game, one that everybody is proud of, and we have a fantastic reputation for bringing through young players, which I am really passionate about.
“The facilities here at USM Finch Farm are fantastic and I cannot wait to get started.”
