England women’s U-19s made it two wins from two at the Marbella Tournament with a 2-1 victory over Denmark.

The Young Lionesses earlier had a 4-0 victory over Finland at the Estadio Municipa Ciudad de La Linea, as Freya Gregory added a brace to singles from Grace Clinton and Elysia Boddy

Gregory set up the opener against the Danes, her cross buried by Emily Murphy’s bullet header.

Just before the break, Gregory hit the post but it was Denmark who found the net, when Nikoline Dudek’s looping header beat Khiara Keating early in the second half.

Aggie Beever-Jones came off the bench to soon head in Maisie Symonds’ free-kick midway through the second period.

England U-17s are in action against Norway today at noon in the second match of a double header, after losing 3-1 to the Norwegians on Sunday.
