England drew 1-1 with Sweden in front of over 63,000 at Wembley, to start their UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 Qualifying campaign.

Fridolina Rolfo fired narrowly wide of Mary Earps far post, shortly before England took the lead when Alessia Russo stooped to head home a Lauren James cross.

Rolfo headed Sweden level at the far post from a cross by Rosa Kafaji, who had only just come off the bench.

The visitors might have added a quick second with Stina Blackstenius through on goal but she slipped her shot wide.
