The first batch of pre-season friendlies featured a fundraiser for Ukraine at Bury FC between England Fans Lionesses and Burley Trojans.

Luton Town provided three of the goals at Gigg Lane, as Leyah Maddix scored two and Jess McKay one against the West Riding third division side.

FC United of Manchester 9-0 Accrington Stanley

Ashleigh Hayes, Kirsty Chambers and new signing Paige Stopford each bagged a brace in FC United’s nine-goal victory.
