England fans will be able to celebrate the Lionesses’ Euro 2025 success with a trophy parade, and here we reveal the date, times and route for the planned celebrations.
The Lionesses successfully defended the European Championship following a penalty shootout victory over favourites Spain on Sunday night.
Chloe Kelly fired in the decisive spot kick three years after she scored the winner in the Euro 2022 final against Germany.
Hannah Hampton was another hero after she saved penalties from Ballon d’Or holder Aitana Bonmati and Mariona Caldentey.
Alex Greenwood and Niamh Charles also scored their penalties for England, while Salma Paralluelo fired her spot-kick wide for Spain.
The game went to penalties after a 1-1 draw, after Alessia Russo’s headed equaliser cancelled out Caldentey’s first-half opener.
It was another spectacular turnaround after England also came from behind to beat Sweden and Italy in the previous two rounds.

Why is there no bank holiday to celebrate England’s Euro 2025 success?
There have been renewed calls for the UK government to celebrate England’s Euro 2025 triumph with a bank holiday.
SheKicks launched a petition calling for a bank holiday on Monday, July 28th, if the Lionesses won the trophy.
As of Monday morning, that petition reached over 6,430 signatures.
Sir Keir Starmer previously suggested there should be one if England won Euro 2022 or the 2023 World Cup.
However, his stance was different for Euro 2025, despite becoming Prime Minister last year.
Liberal Democrat leader Ed Davey led calls to grant the country an extra day off work.
Davey said on Twitter: “Back-to-back champions! The Lionesses have done it again and made us proud. How about it, Keir Starmer? Time for that bank holiday?”
