England youth international Ellie Noble is back in the second tier after leaving Oxford United for Lewes.
The Rooks say the 19-year-old made 25 appearances for Oxford last season in the FAWNL Southern Premier Divison, scoring seven goals from midfield. She was with Oxford when they were a WSL2 side and has also been involved with England at U-18 level.
Noble told lewesfc.com: “I can’t wait to play for Lewes and I think it’s going to be a great season.”
Manager Fran Alonso commented: “Another great addition to the team’s midfield, Ellie is a player with Championship experience and also international at youth levels. She was trialling/training with us for a couple of weeks and impressed us with her ability and attitude. She fits in perfectly with the way we want the team to play and with her team mates. Ellie has all the attributes to be a key part of the team this season.”
