Electric Ireland Women’s Cup Quarter-Final draw made

Sion Swifts, winners of the 2017 Electric Ireland Women’s Challenge Cup, will face last years runners up Linfield in the Quarter Finals.

The ‘Tie of the Round’ will see first face third in the current Danske Bank Women’s Premiership season with Linfield top of the league.

The two teams met recently in the league and neither side could find the winner in a 1-1 draw, Linfield conceding a goal and also dropping points for the fist time this s season.

Elsewhere, current holders and seven time winners Glentoran will travel to Solitude to face Cliftonville, whilst Comber Rec face NIWFA Championship side Ballymena United Allstars.

And finally Crusader Strikers will travel to another NIWFA Championship side in Lisburn, to complete the quarter final draw.

All matches to take place on Monday 1 July at 7:30pm.
