Ebbsfleet United deny ten-player Dartford top spot late on

Dartford were set to go top of the London & South East League despite a dismissal but were denied at the death by local rivals Ebbsfleet United.

EASTERN – Khan brace helps Colney Heath go top

Premier – Royston Town edged Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers 2-1 to make it eight wins from eight, Cambridge City got off the mark with a similar scoreline against Wroxham as Faith Harrison notched a double, while Stevenage and Bowers & Pitsea drew 1-1.

1 North – Harpenden Town opened up an eleven-point lead at the top when sending Real Bedford Reserves to a 4-0 defeat.

1 South – Colney Heath took over at the top form Southend United, as Samaira Khan netted twice in a 3-1 win at Wormley Rovers.

EAST MIDLANDS – Leicester edge seven-goal thriller

Premier – Rotherham United’s first win came in style with a 5-1 success away at SJR Worksop VS

1 Central – Loughborough Foxes Vixens stayed top with a 7-0 win at Brookside Athletic, River City went one better at Beaumont Park in climbing to second.

1 South – Leicester City LFC came out on top 4-3 at Dunton & Broughton United, Wellingborough Town scored seven goals of their own against Long Buckby, Thrapston Town were 5-1 winners at Bugbrooke St.Michael.

LONDON & SOUTH EAST – Ten-player Dartford denied leadership

Premier – Dartford played over an hour a player short after a red card but still took the lead against Ebbsfleet United through Emily Vaughan, only to concede a Charley Clifford goal in the 87th minute. Millwall Lionesses’ Ella Bailey got the only goal of the game at Newhaven, Ashford United and Haywards Heath claimed a first point each in a 1-1 draw but Town are on zero after a points deduction.

1 North – Brentford beat Dulwich Hamlet Reserves 2-0 with a Paula Holguin brace in front of a crowd of 147, as they made it six wins on the spin. Clapton CFC stay goal difference short of the Bees but from four games more, putting eight past AFC Whyteleafe with three from Emily-Jayne Link. Bromley netted nine to Actonians Reserves two, Leen Winner Ekwo with a hat-trick in front of 201 fans.

1 South – Aylesford and Steyning Town edged into second and third place respectively, the former 3-0 winners over Soccer Elite Football Academy and the latter beating Bexhill United 4-2 with the aid of an Amber Hazlewood double.

League Cup 1st Round – Saltdean United Development progressed with a 3-2 win away to Hackney.

NORTH EAST – High fives for Leeds Modernians

Premier – York Railway Institute got off the mark with a hard-fought 4-3 win away to Harrogate Town, whom they now trail by a single point.

1 North – The top two remained unbeaten after Thornaby drew 1-1 with leaders Norton & Stockton Ancients Reserves.

1 South – Leeds Modernians beat Kiveton Park 1-0 with a Bethan Barkley effort, to make it five wins in a row and put themselves goal-difference behind leaders Ossett United. Lower Hopton are third after defeating Oughtibridge WM 5-1, Handsworth won 6-1 at Sheffield United Foundation where Abby Watkinson scored four times, Sheffield Wednesday’s Amy Broomhead got a brace in the 3-1 victory at Altofts.

NORTH WEST – Super-sub secures points for Penrith

Premier – Darwen’s 4-2 victory at Salford City was their seventh straight win, although they have had a point deducted. Tranmere Rovers went fifth with a 4-0 defeat of FC United of Manchester.

1 North – Penrith needed a brace by substitute Kayleigh Wharton to see off Morecambe 3-2 and go clear in second position.

1 South – Wigan Athletic had a narrow 2-1 win at Litherland REMYCA, for whom it is now ten defeats on the trot. Mossley Hill Athletic’s  Jodie Mortimer notched a treble in the 7-2 success against MSB Woolton. The top-of-the table clash between Poulton Vics and FC St Helens was abandoned after just 12 minutes of play, following a 35 minute delay due to a serious injury to St Helens’ Laura Hart.

SOUTHERN – Portchester catch leading pair

Premier – AFC Portchester are level on points with Ascot United and also Oxfordf City after winning 2-1 at Sholing. Winchester City Flyers came from behind to beat Badshot Lea 4-1, with a Laura da Silva brace turning the match in their favour,

1 North – Abingdon United Development ran out 4-0 winners at Wycombe Wanderers U-23s, going level on points with second-placed Ascot United Reserves.

1 South – AFC Stoneham’s 8-2 result against QK Southampton put them in pole position, as Bournemouth Sports Reserves were held 1-1 at home by Bursledon. Elsewhere, Havant & Waterlooville recorded a six-nil victory over AFC Varsity.

REGEN ARABLE SOUTH WEST – Marine rise to the summit

Premier – Marine Academy Plymouth tookover at the top from Forest Green Rovers with a 5-0 beating of Bishops Lydeard, Ilminster Town remain within a point of them following a 7-3 win at AEK Boco.

1 North – Gloucester City had eight different scorers as they put ten goals past Corsham Town, to go top with four wins from four. Cirencester Town drew 2-2 at Royal Wootton Bassett Town, to go above Bitton but stay in second place.

1 West – Plympton’s 3-0 victory over Yeovil Town featured a double by Elsa Finnegan, as they nudged Weymouth off the top with a fifth straight win. Sticker beat Bideford 2-0 to move up to fourth.

WEST MIDLANDS – Nine find the net for Bromsgrove

Premier – Shifnal Town beat Coventry Sphinx 3-1 to extend their perfect start to a fifth fixture, Leek Town sub Rehanne Mellor pegged Kidderminster Harriers back at 1-1 in the 90th minute. Knowle were beaten 4-2 at home by Shrewsbury Town whose Katie Doster was twice on target, likewise Port Vale’s Olivia Mountford for a 2-1 win at Lye Town.

1 North – Eccleshall are level on points with leaders Walsall Wood after defeating ten-player Newcastle Town 5-2. Taylor Wright scored two of their goals, Olivia Dixon was sent off for the visitors.

1 South – Bromsgrove Sporting had nine different names on the scoresheet, as they stormed to a 14-0 win at Leamington Lions, where Amy Kendall top-scored with three.
