Durham Women have revealed their 2022/23 home kit as the club’s long-standing partnership with Vision for Education continues to grow.
It extends a partnership that began back in 2014, and is now one of the longest-running shirt sponsorships at the elite level of English football.
Durham Women and Vision for Education have worked in partnership since then, and last season saw the two organisations deliver a number of exciting initiatives to engage and motivate students in the area – including players delivering motivational assemblies in schools, and 50 pupils being sent to Wembley Stadium for a special trip to the Vitality Women’s FA Cup Final.
Vision for Education’s CEO Liam Roberts said: “We’re delighted to be on this special journey with Durham Women FC for another season.
“Having watched the team grow each year, we’re incredibly proud to continue our partnership.
“As we have for the last eight years, we’ll be working closely again to help raise the profile of the women’s game in the north east, while continuing to create opportunities for our young people to participate and feel part of something so special.”
Durham Women’s Lee Sanders commented: “Vision for Education have become a key part of the makeup of this football club, and are now synonymous with our blue home kit.
“The backing from Liam Roberts and the company over the years has been fantastic and continues to develop.”
