Donald Gillies and Phyllis McLeish join SWPL board of directors

Scottish Women’s Premier League announces appointments to their Board of Directors

The Scottish Women’s Premier League has announced the appointment of Donald Gillies and Phyllis McLeish to their board of directors.

Gillies is Rangers FC Women’s and Girls Managing Director, McLeish holds the position of Kilmarnock FC Managing Director and they will represent the SWPL and SWPL 2 clubs respectively.

Fiona McIntyre, SWPL Managing Director, said: “We are delighted to welcome Donald and Phyllis to the SWPL Board and look forward to working with them. They both bring vast amounts of experience from within the Scottish game and abroad which will undoubtedly be of great value to women’s football in Scotland and will help us to build upon a transformational 18 months for the SWPL.

“Clubs have a vital role in the SWPL governance structure and these appointments reinforce that, ensuring they hold the representative majority on our Board.”
