Demi Stokes has withdrawn injured from the England squad that will face Kazakhstan in front of a sell-out crowd at Colchester on Tuesday, reports TheFA.com.

Stokes, who has a hip injury, will not travel to Colchester for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifier, which will be played at the Weston Homes Community Stadium on Tuesday 28 November (7.05pm KO).

The Lionesses have a 100 per cent record in their Group 1 campaign so far after beating Russia 6-0 in September and Bosnia & Herzegovina 4-0 on Friday [24 November].

The match is live on BBC Two and BBC Radio 5Live Sports Extra.

Kazakhstan only lost to a late goal away to Wales in their recent qualifier.
