Linfield began their defence of the Danske Bank Women’s Premiership title with a narrow win over Sion Swifts.
Rebecca McKenna set up 18-year-old Abbie Magee for the only goal on 14 minutes, while Swifts’ Jamaican imternational goalkeeper Nicole McClure made a string of fine saves for the visitors.
