Leicester City’s postponed Continental Cup group stage fixture against Manchester City has been rearranged for Wednesday 12 January.
The final group game will be played at Burton Albion FC’s Pirelli Stadium, kicking off at 7pm, as the two sides compete for a place in the quarter-finals.
Gareth Taylor’s side beat the Foxes 4-1 away in the WSL earlier this season, as well as hitting them for six in the delayed 2020-21 FA Cup quarter-final but Leicester, now under new manager Lydia Bedford, secured their first ever Super League victory last time out.
Man City are a point better off than Leicester in the group table and the result will determine whether one of the two, or Charlton Athletic, host Bristol City in the quarter-finals the following midweek.
Quarter-Final draw:
West Ham United v Chelsea
Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool
Charlton Athletic, Leicester City or Manchester City v Bristol City
Arsenal v Manchester United
Ties to be played on 19/20 January 2022.
