Doncaster say the left-back has rejoined her Belles team-mates to strengthen new gaffer Coates’ squad as we prepare to kick-start the second half of our season.
In her previous spell at the club, ‘Cressy’ was a regular in the Belles’ back four alongside Belles skipper Leandra Little and Wales international Rhiannon Roberts.
Known for her pinpoint deliveries, Cresswell is thrilled to be back at the club and looking forward to fighting for a place in Coates’ starting XI.
Upon signing, she said: “I couldn’t be happier to be back at the club and returning to training with all the girls. It’s good to be back.
“When I got the call, it was a no-brainer for me to rejoin the Belles. I’m looking forward to working with the new management and the players.
“I want to enjoy my football again and secure a place in the starting 11. Hopefully we can kick-on as a team and gain as many points as possible in the second half of the season.”
After securing Cresswell’s signature, Manager Emma Coates commented: “It’s great to have Lauren back at Belles, she’s fitted straight in with the group and gives us more depth.
“It was an easy decision to bring her back.
