Hannah Downey bagged a brace as the team top of the NIWFA Development league resumed causing cup upsets, by eliminating Division 5 opposition on Friday evening.

Saskia Love hit a hat-trick as Division 1 leaders Greenisland won 5-1 against Craigavon City, who sit second in Division 2.

Bangor Ladies’ Amber Dempster scored three times in their 8-1 result at fellow Championship team Comber Rec.

Sion Swifts visited Wellington Rec with a six-division advantage and came away with a dozen goals.

Sunday saw Division 4 joint leaders Antrim Town overcome fifth-division Donegal Celtic 10-1, with substitute Ashleigh Thompson finding the net four times.
