Linfield host Cliftonville in Electric Ireland Cup 2nd Rd

Electric Ireland Women's Challenge Cup second round

The draw for round two of the Electric Ireland Women’s Challenge Cup was made at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park today.

The Premiership big hitters enter the fray at this stage and holders Glentoran begin their defence of the trophy with a trip to Larne.

Elsewhere Linfield host Cliftonville in the tie of the round, while last year’s beaten finalists Sion Swifts welcome Mid Ulster.

Craigavon City’s reward for their 5-1 success over Belfast Celtic is a trip to Lisburn Ladies.

Crusaders Strikers, runners-up in 2021, have been handed a home draw against Bloomfield.

All matches are set to be played Friday 28 July (kick-off: 7.30pm).
