Chelsea Moving To Kingsmeadow Stadium

Chelsea will leave their home of five years – Staines Town FC – at the end of the WSL 1 Spring Series and start the first winter Super League campaign in Kingston.

Chelsea FC bought Kingsmeadow last June and AFC Wimbledon will continue to play there in League One until their plans for Plough Lane come to fruition, while Kingstonian FC have had to move out and ground-share at Leatherhead.

Blues manager Emma Hayes said: “This move represents a huge opportunity for Chelsea Ladies to create new memories in an area where the club already has a lot of support.”

Kingsmeadow offers free parking for up to 350 cars, while the nearest train station is Norbiton, approximately 15 minutes walk away, with trains running regularly from London Waterloo. The 131 bus stops outside the stadium and runs from both Wimbledon train station and Kingston town centre.
