Cheadle Town, Lye Town and MAP go top of Regional Premier tables

Cheadle Town Stingers, Lye Town and Marine Academy Plymouth all moved top of Regional League Premier Divisions.

EASTERN – Real Bedford go eight points clear

Premier – Real Bedford beat Needham Market 3-1 aided by a quick Natasha Fensome double to open up an eight-point lead, as Wroxham edged Haringey Borough with a Lara Densley effort. Bowers & Pitsea pipped Luton Town 2-1 with substitute Darcy Drewitt on target, Royston Town were 3-1 winners at Barking, Stevenage struck five goals at AFC Dunstable, while St Albans City sent struggling Kings Lynn Town to a narrow defeat.

1 North – Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers won the top-two clash with Histon 3-0, Sophia Amanor got three of Harpenden Town’s four against Newmarket Town as they moved up to second. Biggleswade United just got the better of Wootton Blue Cross 3-2 and it finished 1-1 between Stevenage Devs and Fakenham Town.

1 South –Watford Ladies Development went top after winning 3-0 at Hertford Town, Billericay Town Devs’ sub Sophie Hart netted in a 2-1 win over Wodson Park, Wormley Rovers beat Hutton 4-1.

EAST MIDLANDS – Seven-goal Leicester have two sent off

Premier – Lincoln United put five past Basford United for a fifth straight win, Rotherham United’s Jessica Broadhurst bagged a brace in a 4-2 defeat of Anstey Nomads, Dunton & Broughton United defeated Grimsby Town 3-0 and there was a 1-1 tie between Ilkeston Town and Mansfield Town.

1 Central – Sarah Brown starred for Asfordby Amateurs with all their goals in a 4-3 victory against Nottingham Trent University. Arnold Eagles 5-1 result over Sandiacre Town featured a treble for Natasha Leach, Beaumont Park left Sherwood 3-2 victors.

1 North – Gainsborough Trinity won 4-1 at Lincoln United Devs, Oughtibridge WM 2-1 at Grimsby Borough, Dronfield Town saw off Sleaford Town 2-0.

1 South – Anna Whitehead’s hat-trick helped nine-player Leicester City LFC to a 7-1 scoreline over Cardea, late red cards were shown to Lucy Garner and Rachel Akinyemi. Newport Pagnell Town’s Rachael Mumford netted twice during a 4-2 defeat of New Bradwell St Peter, Thrapston Town overcame Kettering Town 6-3 led by Amelia Boddington’s four-goal haul, Nuneaton Borough and Northampton Town Devs drew 3-3.

LONDON & SOUTH EAST – Ten out of ten for Newhaven

Premier – Aylesford went down 8-1 at home to leaders Dartford, Fulham scored four at Dorking Wanderers as did Millwall Lionesses at home to Crawley AFC and Dulwich Hamlet at Enfield Town who got one in reply.

1 North –  Camden & Islington United 1-6 Richmond Park Sport London e Benfica went top with a 3-0 result over Ashmount Leigh, combined with Whyteleafe’s 4-2 defeat of Dulwich Hamlet Reserves. Brentford’s Chloe Logie netted three of their four against Actonians Reserves, Denham United took the points 2-1 at Hackney.

1 South – Newhaven made it ten wins from ten with a 4-0 score over Hassocks, Montpelier Villa sank Hastings United 7-0 helped by hat-tricks from Katherine Davyson and Saskia Taylor-Doyle. Bognor Regis Town left Steyning Town 2-1 winners, Dartford Reserves defeated Eastbourne United 3-1.

NORTH EAST – Spennymoor catch leaders

Premier – A weather-hit programme saw Spennymoor Town beat fourth-placed Bradford City 3-1 to move level on points with leaders Sunderland West End, albeit from one game more.

1 South – York City Devs lead a very tight table having hit Sheffield United Foundation 11-0, with trebles by Sophie Tinson and Ruby Watt. Hat-tricks too for  Ossett United pair Charlotte Adams and Debbie Hastings in a 7-3 result over Harworth Colliery whose Hayley Rhodes saw red. Altofts sub Naomi Malcolm netted to force a 2-2 draw at Handsworth, Chesterfield FC Women won 3-1 against Farsley Celtic JFC Ladies.

NORTH WEST – Cheadle Town go top

Premier – Cheadle Town Stingers took over at the top with Imogen Porteous-Williams giving them victory over Crewe Alexandra, while West Didsbury & Chorlton downed Tranmere Rovers 4-1 but had Leah Robinson red-carded in added time. Curzon Ashton were 5-3 winners at Salford City, Bury struck four goals after the break for a 5-1 result which left hosts Blackpool adrift at the bottom.

1 North – Accrington Stanley stayed top when beating Penwortham Town 8-1 as Sanah Mehdi claimed four goals, Preston North End’s 5-1 result over Morecambe was matched by Penrith at Workington Reds, while Mancunian Unity won 2-1 at Haslingden. Radcliffe’s Nicole Hatcliffe notched a hat-trick in a 4-1 victory at Bolton Wanderers, Fleetwood Town Wrens Reserves sent Carlisle United to a 2-1 loss.

1 South – Wythenshawe’s seventh win in a row came 4-1 at Mossley Hill Athletic, Warrington Wolves found the net seven times at Litherland REMYCA with three for Nicola Chatterley. FC St. Helens’ Ashley Beard also grabbed a hat-trick on the road, as they won 5-2 at Ellesmere Port Town.

SOUTHERN – Trio of Long Crendon subs score

Premier – Ascot United had a narrow win over Warminster Town thanks to a Sarah Leonard goal, Bournemouth Sports’ Hollie Shaw scored early and late for a 2-0 victory at Eastleigh, Oxford City beat Badshot Lea with four first-half goals.

1 North – Shannon Read completed her hat-trick in stoppage time to dramatically give Wycombe Wanderers U-23s a 3-2 win against Penn & Tylers Green. Long Crendon subs Brooke Burns, Charlotte Cairns and Finlay Lennard all scored in a 5-2 defeat of Abingdon United Devs, Kidlington came away from Beaconsfield Town 4-2 winners, Chesham United Devs defeated Eversley & California 4-1.

1 South – Woking held leaders AFC Stoneham 1-1, Bournemouth Sports Reserves trailed 2-1 at home to Abbey Rangers at half time but turned it round to win 3-2 with Stacey Lewis’s winner coming three minutes from time.

SOUTH WEST – Marine Academy top of the league

Premier – Marine Academy Plymouth sit in top spot after a 3-1 defeat of Frampton Rangers, having previously shared the leadership with Sherborne Town. Pucklechurch Sports rose to second following a 5-2 victory at Forest Green Rovers.

1 East – Poole Town have a four-point lead after a 5-1 win at Royal Wootton Bassett Town, Weymouth claimed a good 1-1 draw at Stockwood Wanderers, Purton put four past hosts Shaftesbury.

1 North – Leaders Weston super Mare were 4-2 winners over SGS Olveston United aided by Ellie Burrows’ brace, AEK Boco beat St Vallier 5-1 away, Gloucester City returned from Bristol Rovers Devs with a 4-0 win, while Paulton Rovers drew 2-2 with Downend Flyers.

1 West –  Bideford beat Middlezoy 2-0 in a basement battle, Aimee Kingdon scoring twice.

WEST MIDLANDS – Lye Town new leaders

Premier – Lye Town lead the table having sent hosts Knowle to a 7-0 defeat, while Shrewsbury Town levelled to hold Worcester City 1-1. Kidderminster Harriers and Coventry Sphinx weren’t far off repeating last week’s goalfest in the FA Cup but this time the latter came out on top 4-3, with braces by Kirsty Farnsworth and Lauren Swift. Lichfield City landed a first win of the season, 2-1 at Shifnal Town.

1 North –  AFC Telford United’s Abigail Beady scored after four minutes but the Bucks had to hold on for the rest of the game against Walsall Wood, following Romillie Evans’ fifth-minute red card. Coventry City’s Keleigh Marshall-Welch accounted for half their tally in a 8-1 result at Lichfield City Reserves, Leek Town Reserves’ Alanya Tezgel got the only goal at Tamworth.

1 South – Alvechurch beat Bewdley Town 5-1, Long Itchington kept up the chase winning 3-2 at Kingfisher, likewise Redditch Borough with all three goals at Rugby Town, two of them for Katie Potter but a red card for Millie Connolly-Heath. Worcester City Devs defeated Droitwich Spa 1-0 away, Hereford Pegasus recorded three goals without reply against Redditch United.
