Crystal Palace beat Coventry United 3-0 to extend their winning start in the Barclays Women’s Championship.

Molly Sharpe fired Palace in front close to half-time, Annabel Blanchard then doubled the Eagles advantage just after the hour mark, with Elise Hughes getting the third late on.

Birmingham City ran out 4-0 winners over Sunderland at the Stadium of Light and took the lead on 45 minutes, Harriet Scott hooking the ball home from a corner.
City sealed the points with three goals in a ten-minute spell in the latter stages, Siobhan Wilson got the second, Ashley Hodson followed up Louise Quinn’s parried header and Jamie Finn had a tap in.

Courtney Sweetman-Kirk got both goals as Sheffield United saw off Durham at Bramall Lane. She broke the deadlock from outside the box early in the second half and lobbed the keeper with 18 minutes to go, when played through by Rhema Lord-Mears.
