Lewes 2-2 Southampton
Bristol City 2-0 Blackburn Rovers
Charlton Athletic 2-4 London City Lionesses

Saints secure first point in BWC

Amelia Hazard slotted home from a Nat Johnson cutback on 15 minutes, then from a stoppage-time corner, Ellie Hack headed home for a 2-0 interval lead.

The Saints halved the deficit when Katie Wilkinson’s through ball was knocked into the top corner by Ella Morris and scores were level with Laura Rafferty’s looping half-volley from Paige Peake’s delivery.

Morris nearly completed the turnaround but hit the crossbar.

Two wins from two for Bristol City

Shania Hayles swept Bristol City in front against Blackburn Rovers, when a corner ball fell kindly for her.

While another flag-kick led to a disallowed goal, Emily Syme doubled the lead from another close to the break.

Lionesses overcome Charlton

The Lionesses were two up in 15 minutes, Jamie-Lee Napier making a telling connection in the six-yard box at the second attempt and then Atlanta Primus allowed to turn and slot home following a corner.

The Addicks replied from the spot, Emily Simpkins converting after Bethan Roe was brought down in the box.

Emma Folis got Charlton back level at 2-2 with a smart finish, only for Amy Rodgers to restore the advantage from outside the area.

Lily Agg gave the Lionesses a two-goal cushion going into the last quarter of an hour.
