Crystal Palace clinched a second win of the FA Women’s Championship campaign, defeating Millwall 3-1 on Saturday evening to move five points above bottom of the table Lionesses.

Gemma Bryan rejoined Palace in midweek and took only 6 minutes of the match to set up the opening goal for Chloe Burr.

The Eagles doubled their lead soon after the interval as Hannah Mackenzie fired a loose ball past Millwall keeper Chloe Sansom.

The Lionesses swiftly replied when Gabby Ravenscroft lobbed Burr from just outside the area, the forward having taken over in goal an injury to Shannell Salgado.

Bryan completed a happy return to Palace by heading home her side’s third goal in the dying minutes.
