Brighouse Town beat higher division Guiseley Vixens in the final of the West Riding County FA Women’s Cup by three goals to two, despite having fallen 1-0 behind early on.
The Vixens’ Beth Stansfield converted a ninth-minute penalty but Brighouse were back on level terms just before the interval, as Annabelle Bass bundled the ball over the line following a corner.
A five-minute spell before the hour mark proved decisive as Lavinia Nkomo scored twice, the first turned in off a Aimi Beresford cross.
The holders pulled a goal back but it’s Brighouse who now get their name on the trophy.
