SWPL 2 side Boroughmuir Thistle made it through to the Sky Sports Cup quarter-finals with a thrilling win over Queen’s Park.

Boroughmuir Thistle edged a seven-goal thriller with Queen’s Park, the Spiders pulled it back from 3-1 down to 3-3, only for Mhairi Smith to grab an 88th-minute decider.
Rio Hardy had Rangers in front at Hearts who levelled through Olufoasade Adamolekum, before Jodi McLeary restored the lead by the break. Goals from Mia McAulay and Kirsty Howat later saw Rangers progress 4-1.
Partick Thistle put out Spartans with Cara Henderson and Linzi Taylor on target, Dundee United got three first-half goals at Kilmarnock and Montrose saw off Motherwell with three goals in the second half.
Cori Sullivan netted four of Glasgow City’s eleven at St Johnstone, Celtic had six goals and six different scorers on the road at Hamilton, Hibernian also hit half a dozen against Aberdeen but the Dons had been 2-1 up.
