Birmingham City Women’s Kerys Harrop has turned down the option of extending her contract and is set to leave the club she joined as a nine-year-old.

She spent two decades with the Blues, made her first team debut aged just 15 against Arsenal, helped City to the Champions League semi-finals, to FA Cup success and twice to second spot in the WSL.

An ever-present for the club in the WSL, she also managed Blues’ Sister Club programme which partners with 27 grassroots clubs and schools from across the Midlands.
