Birmingham City Women have signed Sarah Ewens on a two-year deal from Celtic, for an undisclosed fee.
Ewens, 29, is a versatile forward with nearly a century of appearances for the Hoops across four years, yielding 64 goals.
Celtic’s leading scorer last sseason, she helped the Hoops qualify for the UEFA Women’s Champions League for the first time.
Ewens told BCFC.com: “I’m absolutely delighted. It’s really good to be here and I can’t wait to get started. It is massive for me, coming down, and playing in the top league.
“I love scoring goals and, hopefully, I can bring that to my game down here and also some assists as well. I am a very attacking player and I hope to bring those abilities to Birmingham.”
