Birmingham City Women have taken highly-rated goalkeeper Emily Ramsey on a season-long loan from Manchester United.
The 20-year-old has previously been out on loan to Sheffield United and West Ham, while internationally she was selected for the Lionesses summer training camp and won a bronze medal at the U-20 World Cup in 2018.
Ramsey told BluesTV: “I’m really excited. There’s an exciting season coming up and I’m just happy to be here and to get going with the girls.
“Blues have got an exciting team and a new Head Coach who I am excited to work with. It’s going to be good going forward in the season.
“I would like to say I have got a good presence and I would like to say I am good at shot-stopping.”
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Sophie Whitehouse who spent the second half of last season with the Blues, has signed for Bristol City.
