Billericay Town were 4-0 winners in the Essex FA Women’s Cup Final, as C&K Basildon missed a penalty and had a player sent off.
Danica Dougal opened the scoring with a penalty on 9 minutes but when Basildon got the chance to level from the spot, Holly Turner blazed over the bar.
Basildon had Mollie Debell sent off on 36 minutes and Sam Pittuck doubled Billericay’s lead on half time.
A quickfire double after the hour mark made sure of the outcome, as Esme Lancaster netted a loose ball and then Zoe Rushen lobbed home from 20 yards.
