Arsenal Sign Lisa Evans From Bayern Munich

She moved to Germany and spent three seasons at Turbine Potsdam, making 49 appearances for them before moving to their Bundesliga rivals and title holders Bayern Munich in 2015.

Aside from her club successes, Evans also has an impressive international record with a total of 48 appearances and 12 goals for Scotland.

Continuing her international success, she recently helped Scotland get through to Euro 2017, after scoring twice for her country in their qualifiers against Belarus and Macedonia.

Arsenal Manager, Pedro Martinez Losa said: “Lisa is a fantastic addition to our team. She has played at the top level for many years now and she joins us from a strong side.

We are delighted that she has decided to move to England to join us for the 2017/18 season.”

Evans becomes the Gunners’ second summer addition from Bayern, following on from Netherlands striker Vivianne Miedema.
