Yeovil have signed another pair of Welsh internationals from Cardiff City LFC, as Laura O’Sullivan and Hannah Miles make the move into the WSL.
O’Sullivan is an experienced goalkeeper with Wales, while Miles plays full back and has 8 caps although she is aged just 19. They join Chloe Lloyd and Gemma Evans, who also joined from Cardiff earlier this week.
Laura O’Sullivan told yeoviltownladies.com: “I’ve always dreamed of competing at the highest level of the game and to do it with Yeovil and the group of players and staff here is an amazing feeling.
“What this club has achieved in a short space of time is remarkable and I hope I can continue to help push the club and the girls on, to achieve our aims and aspirations.”
Jamie Sherwood commented “Laura, with her determination to achieve at the highest level, has earned the Welsh number one shirt. I felt it was the right time to invite her to join our club and she hasn’t disappointed.
“Her attitude to training, learning and the additional work we do with our players has been excellent and to the highest of standards.
“We have an excellent goalkeeper pool at this club and their togetherness and determination to be number one is a great situation for the club.”
On putting pen to paper, Hannah Miles commented: “I’m delighted to have signed for Yeovil. I’m really looking forward to the challenge ahead and I cant wait to get started with the season.”
Sherwood went on to say “Hannah is another young and hungry player who plays with no fear and has excellent athleticism to attack and has a ruthlessness in defence.”
