UEFA WOMEN’S CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SEMI-FINALS 1ST LEG
Olympique Lyonnais 7-0 Paris Saint-Germain (Att: 22,050)
VfL Wolfsburg 4-0 1. FFC Frankfurt (Att: 3,007)
PSG would appear not to be making the final for a second season running, having crashed 7-0 in a record-breaking tie in Lyon, in which the costs scored from all but one of their efforts on target.
Watched by a European non-final club record crowd, Camille Abily became the first player to win 50 UEFA club games, Ada Hegerberg’s second goal saw Lyon notch a record 250 goals in UEFA club matches, while Lotta Schelin equalled Nina Burger of Neulengbach’s record of 40 European goals for one club, only the fifth player to reach that tally overall.
In the all-German clash, 2013 and 2014 winners Wolfsburg were 4-0 winners over holders Frankfurt, taking only 7 minutes to score through Isabel Kerschowski.
The hosts were in control by the break, as Alexandra Popp found the top corner from distamce and then Babett Peter headed home Élise Bussaglia’s cross.
Frankfurt improved in the second half but Wolfsburg just added to theit tally when Ramona Bachmann punished a mistake by keeper Anne-Kathrine Kremer.
