#AdranPremier: Cardiff Met go top on goal-difference

Cardiff Met lead the Adran Premier League table for the first time this season following the midweek matches.

Wednesday 6 October 

The New Saints 2-0 Aberystwyth Town

Thursday 7 October

Cardiff Met 3-1 Pontypridd Town
Barry Town United 0-2 Cardiff City FC

Cardiff Met went ahead against Pontypridd Town seven minutes before the break through Emily Richards, who then struck again very early in the second half. Alison Witts pulled a goal back with 13 minutes to play, only for Laura May Walkey to quickly restore the two-goal cushion.

Cardiff City FC went level on points with Cardiff Met and Swansea City after a 2-0 victory at Barry Town United. Zoe Atkins made the breakthrough six minutes after the restart and Catherine Walsh doubled the lead on the hour mark, when heading home from a corner kick.

The New Saints banked their first ever points in the league with a goal in each half against Aberystwyth Town. Caitlin Chapman scored after 30 minutes and Lexi Harrison on the hour mark.
