Swansea were unable to record a twelfth straight league win this season as Aberystwyth kept them at bay. Ffiona Ashman made a flying save to deny Chloe Chivers, Chloe Tiley was twice thwarted by the crossbar, one of those after a touch from the Aber keeper, while debutant Karmyn Carter saw her late header ruled out for offside.
Cardiff Met and Cardiff City FC both won to move within four points of the leaders. The Archers beat Barry 7-1 aided by braces from Olivia Thompson and Elianna Chavez, the Bluebirds got all four goals at Pontypridd where Danielle Green got a double.
The New Saints defeated Port Talbot with first-half efforts from Caitlin Chapman and Lexie Harrison to climb off the foot of the table, at the expense of Barry.

Abergavenny lead the Adran South table but only after coming from behind to defeat Cardiff Bluebelles with a stoppage-time winner. Erin Flynn’s opener was cancelled out by Amy Thrupp in the second half and Lyndsey Davies struck a 94th-minute decider.
