Abbi Grant, 23, has become the first winter signing for RSC Anderlecht, joining from Scottish champions Glasgow City.
The forward played against the Belgian side in the preliminary round of the UEFA Women’s Champions League in August and told the club’s website that: “The RSCA was our most formidable opponent in this tournament. We had done a lot of analysis and tried to prepare ourselves well. The RSCA had beaten us but we qualified then thanks to the goal difference.”
The Scottish international trained for the first time with her new teammates in midweek and added: “My goal here at RSC Anderlecht is to get my selection for the next World Cup. It is for this reason that I came here, in order to progress further.”
