Chantelle Swaby, a 25-year-old defender, has agreed a two-year contract with Leicester City after leaving French side FC Fleury.
She has 38 caps for her country, including the experiences of playing at both the World Cup and CONCACAF championship.
The centre-back has also played for Sky Blue FC in the NWSL and had a season in Scotland with Rangers, before helping Fleury finish fourth in the French top flight outfit.
Speaking to LCFC.com. Swaby said: “It feels great to have signed for Leicester City. I know this will be a really good experience and a great challenge for me and I’m really excited.
“Playing as the home team at King Power Stadium will be a whole different experience and I’m really looking forward to getting started with my team-mates and meet the supporters.”
