Manchester City's Deyna Castellanos departs for Bay FC

Manchester City’s Venezuelan international midfielder Deyna Castellanos has transferred to NWSL side Bay FC.

The Bay Area’s new National Women’s Soccer League franchise have signed Castellanos on a contract through the 2026 season, with an option for a further year.

The 24-year-old joined City in July 2022 from Atletico Madrid and she made 36 appearances for Gareth Taylor’s team, scoring five goals.

She has 38 caps for her country, which have seen her net an impressive total of 22 goals.
