Swansea City had to twice come from behind to draw 3-3 at Wrexham as the new Genero Adran Premier Division season got underway.
Aberystwyth Town 3-0 Barry Town United
Cardiff Met 1-3 Cardiff City Women
Pontypridd United 1-3 The New Saints
Wrexham 3-3 Swansea City
Rebecca Pritchard had newly-promoted Wrexham ahead at the break, Rosie Hughes then extending the advantage. Robyn Pinder pulled one back on her Swans debut, having replaced Stacey John-Davis who was taken to hospital following a shoulder injury. Chloe Chivers fired the visitors level and former WSL player Hannah Keryakoplis restored the lead on 88 minutes. Swansea were down to ten when Ellie Lake was shown the red card for kicking out, but Katy Hosford clipped in a stoppage-time equaliser from outside the box.

Aberystwyth Town have the honour of being initial leaders after defeating Barry Town United 3-0. All the goals came from debutantes in the first half, Lily Moralee-Hughes’ brace added to by 15-year-old Lleucu Mathias.
Cardiff City Women came out on top in the capital derby at Cardiff Met. Megan Bowen’s opener was cancelled out by Ingrid Ådland, a Rhianne Oakley solo effort had City back in front and after Catherine Walsh hit the post, defender Bowen followed up to complete her brace.
The New Saints triumphed by a similar score at Pontypridd United. Danielle Staley struck first for TNS and although Izzy Redding made it 2-0 with a dozen minutes left, victory was not yet secured. Carys Bufton replied from distance but a poor attempted clearance saw Caitlin Chapman gifted the Saints’ third goal.
