Charlton Athletic have brought in forward Karin Muya from London City Lionesses, while Head Coach Karen Hills has signed a new two-year contract.
Muya graduated from the Chelsea academy to make two first-team appearances, before the England U-19 international moved to US university side Notre Dame.
She also played for Italian Serie A team Orobica and San Marino FC, followed by a return to the UK with London City ahead of the 2021-22 season.
Muya told charltonafc.com: “Speaking with Karen [Hills] and already knowing some of the girls who were here it just seemed like such an easy decision to make.”
“The club’s values and their style of play really aligned and stuck out to me.”
Hills, who has guided the Addicks to fifth and fourth-place finishes in the Barclays Women’s Championship, said: “I am delighted to continue my stay here at Charlton, obviously being a player here and now a Head Coach the club is very special to me and I am very proud of what we as a team have built over the last few seasons.
“I am happy with our recruitment this summer and I think we are heading into this new campaign with a strong group, every single player has worked hard over the summer and now we are all raring to go to take on Sheffield United.”
