Colombia stunned Germany at the FIFA Women’s World Cup, Norway and Switzerland went through, Morocco had a historical win.
Germany got a late leveller against Colombia in the teams’ second Group H games, only for the South Americans to win it at the death.
Alexandra Popp volleyed over for Germany at the far post and early in the second half, a moment of magic from Colombia’s Linda Caicedo found the top corner.
With three minutes of the 90 to go, Lena Oberdorf was brought down by keeper Perez and Popp put away the resulting penalty.
However, in the last minute of added time, Manuela Vanegas headed home from a Leicy Santos corner to secure all three points for Colombia.
Morocco got off the mark in Group H, with an early goal proving sufficient to see off South Korea.
Morocco were ahead just six minutes in, Ait El Haj crossing for Ibtissam Jraidi to glance home a header.
Casey Phair came off the bench and pulled a good chance wide for the Koreans, as Morocco held on for their first ever points at the finals.
Norway hit the Philippines for six to progress from Group A.
Norway came to life in the tournament with three first-half goals against the Philippines, Sophie Haug with two of them.
Haug scored with a far-post volley and later a header, before Caroline Graham Hansen found the far corner from outside the box.
Following an own-goal, Guro Reiten made it five from the spot and Haug completed her hat-trick.
Switzerland topped Group A after a goalless draw with co-hosts New Zealand, who consequently bow out.
Jacqui Hand hit the far post for the Ferns in the first half, but her side failed to really threaten the Swiss goal in the second period.
