AFC Fylde won away to Solihull Moors in the Vitality Women’s FA Cup 3rd Round to book a trip to Aston Villa.

The FAWNL Northern Premier Division side were well on their way by half-time, with a four-goal lead over their fourth-tier hosts.

Three of those goals – including a penalty – were by Faye McCoy, the fourth from Jenna Carroll.

Solihull hit back twice in four minutes after the restart, as Lyndsey Ross-Baker and Shannon McFadden scored, only for the Coasters to quickly get their fifth through Amy Hughes.

All other ties fell victim to the weather.
