Manchester City confirm that Caroline Weir will leave at the end of her contract this summer, along with Karima Benameur Taieb.

Scotland international Weir helped Manchester City win four trophies in as many years; two Continental Tyres League Cups and two Vitality Women’s FA Cups.

Weir made 124 appearances in all competitions, scoring 38 times and often in spectacular fashion.

Goalkeeper Taieb played 24 times for City after joining from Paris FC three years ago, most of those appearances coming during the club’s injury crisis in the first half of the 2021-22 season.
