Sheffield United Women midfielder Kasia Lipka will retire from playing after Sunday’s Championship match against Crystal Palace.

Lipka spent a decade of her youth career at Sheffield United, then had an eight-year spell with Doncaster Rovers Belles, signing her first professional contract with the club in December 2015.

She went on to sign for Sunderland in September 2017 and following a season out with injury, returned to the Blades ahead of the 2019-20 season.

Lipka was part of the gold medal-winning Team GB at the 2013 Summer Universiade and was capped by England up to U-23 level.
