Thirty nominees are in contention for France Football’s Women’s Ballon d’Or 2021 award, with the winner to be announced in December.
A selection of journalists, national team coaches and captains will pick their top five players from the shortlist, a third of which is made up of players from UWCL finalists Barcelona and Chelsea.
There was no award last year due to the pandemic but previous winners were Ada Hegerberg (2018) and Megan Rapinoe (2019).
